PLANNING TO WEALTH KICKS OFF BUSINESS OWNER ROUNDTABLE FORUM

FEBRUARY 12, 2018

Planning to Wealth hosted the Business Owner Roundtable Forum at Neuehouse in New York City on Febr­uary 9th.  Moderated by David Wilson, financial planning clients and friends of Planning to Wealth discussed a wide range of issues relevant to their businesses, including the increasing challenge to businesses of hiring and retaining design and technical talent with fierce competition from massive, well-funded technology companies like Google and Facebook, the rising influence of millennial employees on the workplace and the impact of immigration changes on businesses.  The next Business Owner Roundtable will be held in May.  Please email dwilson@planningtowealth.com if you are interested in attending a forum.

DAVID WILSON RECEIVES THE CERTIFIED COLLEGE FINANCIAL CONSULTANT (CCFC) DESIGNATION FROM THE AICCFC.

Editor and Writer at Planning to Wealth, David Wilson, received the premier financial planning designation focused on advising families as they put their children through college:  the CCFC.  Administered by the AICCFC, the CCFC program includes comprehensive coursework and a final examination on the following areas:  student loan advising, financial aid advising, academic planning to reduce costs, optimal saving strategies and an analysis of higher education tax deductions and credits.  CCFC charterholders must complete a fiduciary oath and annual service requirements.  Coursework also includes specific, actionable college financial strategies and techniques for business owners, divorced parents, grandparents and high net worth families.  If you are interested in a free consultation on college planning for your family, please email dwilson@planningtowealth.com.
